The echru pendant is made from from locally sourced materials such as; cork, hand spun aluminium, crocheted t-yarn and cotton. Inside each lampshade there is a copper finish providing an additional warm white glow. The pendant can be customised to your own preference of yarn colour combinations, cotton trimming and lastly type of yarn shape - As seen in picture above from left to right - flare, teardrop and boxed.

 Cable length is standard - 1.5m - unless otherwise specified. Included is seven copper light fittings and seven 40watt medium sized squirrel cage globe shaped bulbs. Chandelier comes with two matching 3 hole copper ceiling cups and cable clips.

 

A light installation; hand wrought from chunky blackened rope, shorn lamb roving and copper string suspended off a classically rose gold copper webbed frame. Researching the molecular and cell-like inconsistent structure of the bridal mushroom initialized the inspiration for the hovering frame.

"I wanted to create a floating, primitive and virtually conscious formation whose textured shape is reminiscent of ravines and abysses found in dramatic natural earth formations that are present on this beautiful continent."
